ECIS® Z-Theta
- Complex impedance analyser
- ECIS® (Electric Cell-substrate Impedance Sensing) quantifies morphology changes in the sub-nanometer to micrometer ranges.
- Small altering currents are applied across an electron pattern at the bottom of the array which results in a potential across the electrodes being measured by the system. Cells act as insulators increasing the impedance.
- Stimulating cells to change their function alter the impedance which can be detected by the system.
- The instrument can use a range of AC-frequencies from 100 to 100 kHz and complex impedance measurement to determine different cell morphology parameters including barrier function, close contacts, and membrane capacitance.
- 16- or 96-well station for use with 8-well or 96-well arrays
- Station is designed to put in an incubator for optimal cell growth. Incubators are also available from Dunn Labortechnik.

Large Roller Apparatus and suitable Large Capacity Roll-In CO2 Incubators from Bellco Glass are the perfect combination for the production of cells, cell products, vaccines, and viruses.
Since many years, Dunn Labortechnik supplies their customers with the well-proven roller apparatus from Bellco Glass and also offers continuous technical support for this equipment.
Especially for biotechnological production, large roller apparatus with 88 bottle positions and suitable large-capacity roll-in incubators with 2,265 liters chamber, digital controllers for speed, temperature and CO2 , as well as safety thermostat are now available.
For easy operation and process monitoring, both units are equipped with a touch screen display. In addition to local acoustic and visual alarms, incubator model 7728-S0260 has analogue signal and alarm outputs for monitoring via computer or monitoring system as well as USB and Ethernet connections. In addition, an alarm notification can be sent by E-mail or text message.
The Bellco roller apparatus has a battery back-up system to bridge short-term power failures and can accommodate up to 88 long or up to 176 short roller bottles, depending on process and system configuration. The included all-position drive ensures that even light weight roller bottles are rotated evenly in the selected running direction.
